Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead Collaborate on a New Project
Seven-Year Journey Culminates in Creative Partnership
After seven years of searching, actors Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have finally found the perfect project to collaborate on.
The couple, who have been together since 2017, have long expressed their desire to work together. "We've always talked about it," McGregor said in a recent interview. "We just wanted to find the right thing."
That thing turned out to be a new film called "A Gentleman in Moscow," based on the novel by Amor Towles. McGregor will play the lead role of Count Alexander Rostov, a Russian aristocrat who is forced to live in a hotel after the Bolshevik Revolution. Winstead will play Anna Urbanova, a young woman who befriends Rostov and helps him navigate his new life.
"It's a beautiful story about love, loss, and redemption," McGregor said. "I'm so excited to bring it to life with Mary."
The film is set to begin production in the fall. No release date has been announced yet.
